Measurement is the quantification of attributes of an object or event, which can be used to compare with other objects or events. Such quantification is an inevitable attribute of human condition. All our activities as an individual and a society is under constant quantification. As we become more and more geometricized we tend to keep providing more scope for the quantification. This series of drawings reflect upon the quantification through measurements happening on the painted surface. Ruler is one of the important tools of drawing and it determines some of the most basic attributes of the drawing such as the size, intervals between elements, element of uniformity, creation of patterns etc. In our lives we have our own rulers and we have our own units of measurements.
